He is considered the father of modern Korean typography. He revolutionized the Korean alphabet, known as hangul*, by bringing it into the modern era. Mr. Ahn gave a breath of fresh air to the once stodgy looking alphabet, forever changing the way Koreans look at their own alphabet.

*The Korean alphabet, hangul, is the only known language whose origins are clear and well documented.
