I read this great article a while ago and happened across it again. There has been some counter argument about this study, which can be found here. A group of scientists who did a study on a group of people who bought things that were more “eco-conscious” and how these same group of people were less likely to be as ethical in other areas. Mind you, the study was done with a very controlled set of people, not a wide range of people, hence the counter argument to this study.

From my personal experience, I have found that conventional consumers tend to be more generous to charities than the green consumers. Always wondered why that is and this article makes some sense to me on this area. I’m just sayin’.
